Media

Transport services will be provided for media between July 17 and August 11, 2015 and include:

arrival/departure transfers;
transportation to/from competition venues.

The transport services are developed with the participation of FINA experts in accordance with the Championships competition schedule and individual demands for each sport. Dynamic planning allows flexibility in terms of providing transport services, enabling the organisers to make adjustments to the schedule immediately during the Championships, in order to comply with possible changes to event timings.

The following types of vehicles will be used to carry media and broadcasters:

Minibus. Capacity: 12-18 seats. Minibuses will travel between distant hotels and competition venues.
Tourist coach. Capacity: 40-50 seats. Coaches will travel between arrival/departure points and official places of accommodation and provide shuttle service to/from sports venues.

The transportation network carrying media and broadcasters will be marked with a sign displaying the letters ‘TM’ (Transport Media).

The Organising Committee will provide media and broadcasting companies with transportation from the Kazan International Airport and railway stations Kazan-1 and Kazan-2 to their places of accommodation. To book a transfer, media representatives and broadcasters need to enter the exact date and time of their arrival in the FINA General Management System no later than 24 hours prior to their actual arrival in Kazan. Based on the approved arrival schedule, the Organising Committee will be obliged to provide transfers from official arrival/departure points to places of accommodation. Departure transfers will be available only from official accommodation. To confirm the date and time of departure, media representatives and broadcasters need to refer to an info desk located at their places of accommodation. Information on the estimated departure time will be available at the information desk.

During the Championships, shuttles will operate daily at regular 30-minute intervals between official places of accommodation and competition venues.

Dry lease
