In view of great interest shown by international and local media in the coverage of the 16th FINA World Championships, the following accreditation quota has been established for journalists: no more than 4 representatives from one media outlet. A request to increase the quota will be considered by the Organising Committee and FINA on an individual basis.
The Organising Committee renders assistance with accommodation arrangements by providing journalists with a list of hotel options and acting as an intermediary in booking rooms via GMS. Media representatives will be expected to pay for their own accommodation.
Non-rights holding broadcasters are strictly FORBIDDEN from filming, recording or broadcasting from within competition venues.
English is used to fill in the accreditation application form in GMS. However, to make things easier for journalists from Russia, the system has been made available in the Russian language as well. Basic information is entered in English, but once the 'Nationality' field is filled out, the system automatically switches to the Russian language.
When registering in GMS, each user enters an existing email address where a login and password will be sent to. The account (login/password) is individual and cannot be used by several persons at the same time.
